From the Artistic Director

We will open our season on October 2nd with Ms. Kassy Eugene, Soprano Soloist. Her vocal talent was revealed at the age of four (4) years when she began singing in her church’s children's choir. As she matured, her parents sought opportunities for her to sing at local organizational functions. While in high school, she was selected to perform the lead role in the musical “Children of Eden”.

. The Music Ministry groups of Palm Coast United Methodist Church will present a Christmas Concert and a Spring Musical as well as Lenten Meditations and Mini-Concerts. This year’s exciting schedule reminds us that, although we have come a very long way from our initial concert series in 1999, the Palm Coast United Methodist Concert Series continues to bring the Joy of Music to our community.

The art of Joseph R. Cotie

Mr Cotie is a graduate of The Univ. of New Hampshire with BS in Mechanical Engineering and a graduate of Adelphi Univ. with an MS in Applied Science. During the 20 years he lived in south Florida where he attended two years of evening art classes at the Norton Gallery of Art in West Palm Beach, FL. This experience helped him see the beauty in the world which he hopes to express in his art. As he traveled around the world, he was influenced by the beauty of God’s gifts to mankind and has made an effort to record these observations in his art.

Praise God in his holy house of worship, praise him under the open skies; Praise with a blast on the trumpet, praise by strumming soft strings; Praise him with castanets and dance, praise him with banjo and flute; Praise him with cymbals and a big bass drum, praise him with fiddles and mandolin. We offer the Concert Series to the community as our way of praising
and glorifying God. These programs of sacred, classical and popular
music, along with the work of featured visual artists, offer enjoyment,
education and personal enrichment. May this bring joy to your heart as
