Kassy Eugene, Soprano Soloist
Kassy has received superior rating in vocal and ensemble performance at both the district and state level from the Florida Solo Ensemble. While enhancing her academic and musical talents at The University of North Florida, she is actively involved inCommunity and mission work. .Kassy’s formal music training first began under the direction of Ms. Hyacinth Lloyd, this was followed with studies under Mrs. Janet R. Mayer. Currently, she is a student of Mr. Jesse Chapman. Kassy was one of the 2010-2011 PCUMC Concert Series Music and Fine Arts Scholarship recipients.There will be a reception with the performer in the Fellowship Hall after the Concert. Parking assistance and childcare will be provided by the concert series. A portion of the proceeds from this concert will go to the Music and Fine Arts Scholarship Fund for students who live in Flagler County. Graduating high school students and matriculating students are eligible.Please share the news about this great concert with your friends and neighbors and post the enclosed flyer in a public place. Adult donation tickets are $15 and Student donation tickets are $5. The
opening concert for the Palm Coast United Methodist Church 2010-2011
concert season will feature soprano solist “Kassy Eugene”. Her vocal
talent was revealed at the age of four (4) years when she began singing in
her church’s childrens choir. As she matured, her parents sought
opportunities for her to sing at local organizational functions. While in
high school, she was selected to perform the lead role in the musical
“Children of Eden”.
