SHOWCASE OF YOUNG PIANO ARTISTS

January is Youth Month for the Palm Coast United Methodist Church Concert Series! Talented local youth will be featured in our concerts and throughout church activities in January.

            We welcome Mrs. Stella Pola and her local young piano artists for a recital concert. This is the sixth annual concert by these blossoming young artists in the Young Artists Series. Senior concerts by some of Mrs. Pola’s students have also been featured over the past few years.

            Mrs. Pola is very well known in Palm Coast and nationally as a piano teacher who has spent a lifetime discovering and encouraging talented piano students.  Many of her students have been accepted by prestigious music schools.  She is a certified teacher of the National Music Teachers Association.  She has held many leadership and judge positions in Volusia County, New Jersey, Florida and New York.  Mrs. Pola has been a clinician and lecturer to students, music teachers and music organizations.  Palm Coast is proud to have Stella Pola as a resident and as an esteemed piano teacher.

            The music at this concert will be performed by students ranging in age from six years to eighteen years.  The students will play a variety of classical, contemporary and jazz selections.  The concert is designed to be interesting and varied as the students share their musicianship.

            Mrs. Pola is very pleased that many of her students enter prestigious competitions. Many of them also share their talents throughout the community by performing in nursing homes, their church homes, schools and libraries.

            This concert will be held in the sanctuary of Palm Coast United Methodist Church at 5200 Belle Terre Parkway.  Free childcare and parking assistance will be provided.  A Freewill Donation will be collected.  This concert is made possible in part with a Cultural Arts Grant from the City of Palm Coast.  A reception with Mrs. Pola and her students will follow the concert.
