ARTISTIC DIRECTOR, SENIOR PASTOR, VOLUNTEERS AND SUPPORTERS

A program such as the Concert Series requires a large, enthusiastic staff of
volunteers, supporters, and PCUMC staff.  Listed here are a few, and certainly
not all of the active workers in this project.  We very much need you, your
prayers for our success, and your participation in this ambitious community project.

Jesse Chapman
, Director of Music and Fine Arts at PCUMC founded the Concert Series in 1999.  He brings to the position a broad musical background:  teaching (high school and college), pianist, conductor, church organist and private teaching (piano and voice).  Under his direction, the Westhill Chamber Singers received rave notices at home and at concert venues around the globe.  Chapman has held elected offices in professional organizations at both state and national levels.  Among his many citations for excellence is a Lifetime Achievement Award in the Arts from the State of Connecticut.  He resides in Palm Coast with his wife Betty and is the father of two young adults, Nichole and Justin.

Palm Coast United Methodist Church is pleased to announce the appointment of the Reverend Scott Phillip Farman as Senior Pastor.
His tenure began July 1, 2006.

Reverend Farman was born, raised, and educated in California but has spent much time serving Methodist churches in the Florida Conference. The churches served were in Orlando, Tampa, Crescent City, and most recently, in Port Charlotte.   Scott says: “I was not born into the Methodist Church.  I selected it.

Reverend Farman enjoys preaching at both contemporary and traditional styles of worship services.  He particularly enjoys relating, one-on-one, to people of all ages.  Family events hold a high priority in his life.  He even took the time and enjoyed coaching his daughter’s  soccer team.

Reverend Farman is married to Valerie and they have a nine year old daughter, Jennifer.  Their spaniel Casey, is also a part of the family.
